Lake 10 sits where the Upparu lagoon meets Nelum Wewa, in a village few visitors ever find their way to. Kayak out past mangrove roots at first light. Drift the lagoon by boat to a sandbank that belongs to no one. Wait out the dark for a glimpse of a fishing cat, or the flash of Sri Lanka's rarest nocturnal primate, the slender loris.
